We have a huge range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available, specialising in tap beers from the UK and elsewhere. 

Dining

We have a comprehensive pub menu, including meals just for kids, which is available between 11:00am and 9:00pm. Keep in mind that the chilly winter weather brings with it limited space inside. In summer we have plenty of space inside and out. 

Indoor seating

The indoor space is complemented with a cosy open fire at one end and heaters in the “Queen End”. Our ‘Queen Pergola’ space is an enclosed and heated room extension off the main pub with high top seating. There are radiant heaters lining the roof, plastic curtains which can be either lowered in case of cool and unpleasant weather or raised when warm and sunny. This area is ideal for small functions.

Outdoor seating

  • Beer Garden & Hill

    Our large outdoor entertaining area includes the beer garden and live music stage which has gas heaters available and wood fires to keep you warm. The grassed hill area is perfect for families or for our furry friends on sunny days.

  • Marquee 

    The Marquee in our front beer garden is a large tented enclosure with a mix of high top seating and regular seating, two televisions and can be heated during the colder months.

  • Rear Courtyard 

    Our Rear Courtyard includes the newly renovated 4Pines Beer Garden which includes a combination of low seated tables, high top tables and standing tables, as well as a private stage and a fountain. This area is a popular space for private functions of various sizes. Gas heaters and wood fires can be made available upon request.

Disabled access

Front access to the pub from the gravel car park is accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. While all doors are large enough for such access, entering from the side of the pub involves stairs and therefore it is recommended to enter from the front. An all access bathroom is also available.

For Baby

The George welcomes those of all ages, a baby change table is available in the all access bathroom.
High chairs are also available.

For The Pooch

Your four legged friends are welcome in all outdoor areas, we just ask they be kept on lead at all times and cleaned up after. Water bowls are available scattered about the venue. Assistance animals are welcome in all areas.
